Don't know if there's an e-mail blob for Misfit's members, but please send this along if such exists. Kathy Dorvinen at the MTU ticket office is looking to get the following message out to the Misfits and other student season ticket holders:
Good Afternoon,
We hope your summer is going well and we are looking forward to seeing you return to Michigan Tech in a few weeks. As you know the Experience
Tech Fee will be in place this year and part of that fee includes hockey tickets. You will receive a notice explaining the fee from the Student Affairs Office. Because of the fee you will have the option of picking up your tickets for each series from the Central Ticket Office (the cost is covered by the Experience Tech fee). If you would like to be guaranteed the same seat for every game, you may purchase the same seat that you had last year at our student season ticket price of $80.00.
Please follow these steps to renew your seat from last year:
1) Call the Central Ticket at (906)487-2073 to charge the seat to your credit card. We will hold your tickets in reservation until you return to campus. You can stop by and pick up the tickets at your convenience.
2) You can also stop by the Ticket Office to pay by cash, check or credit card.
3) You will have until 9:00pm, September 9, 2008 to renew your seat. On September 10, 2008, at 9:00am, you can change your seat location.
4) We will release any unclaimed seats on September 11, 2008.
